Katie Kelly, (Senior Director, Market Practice & Regulatory Policy, ICMA (International Capital Market Association)) will introduce private placement as a funding alternative, exploring some of its advantages, potential disadvantages and other considerations and explaining the development of best practice as reflected in the ICMA private placement market guide. Robin Vandenheede, Originator Debt Capital Markets at Belfius, will clarify the role of bank in a private placement issuance and provide some examples of companies that use private placements within their funding strategy.
