Andrew Burns

Managing Director & Working Capital Advisor, C2FO

Having spent more than 21 years in the treasury field, Andrew provides expertise to global 2000 companies in global cash visibility, pooling and investment strategies, international forecasting, FX risk and hedging. He regularly advises on best practice treasury processes , working capital, and systems integration.
Prior to C2FO, worked in the field of Treasury software and also served as the EMEA Treasurer of Motorola, responsible for building the European Treasury operation. Additional worked with several Treasury Software vendors such as Wallstreet Systems & IT2 both implementing and supporting customers initiatives.
 

Sebastian Harushimana

Director, PWC

Sebastian Harushimana is a director at PwC with over 19 years of experience in international accounting. Sebastian has been in charge of a portfolio of large multinational and Belgian clients, including insurance companies, dealing with IFRS 17 and IFRS 9. He also leads the IFRS 9 advisory services for corporates, mainly in hedge accounting, securitisation and factoring/reverse factoring.

Rob Kortman

Partner, PwC

Rob Kortman is partner at PwC and heads up the PwC Europe Working capital Management practice and brings over 20 years of dedicated working capital and advisory experience.

The PwC working capital management practice focuses on operational working capital management, supporting companies to optimize and release cash from their Procure-to-Pay, Forecast-to-Fulfill (Inventory) and Order-to-Cash operations.

Rob has worked for a wide range of clients across many geographies and industries. In the process, he helped to deliver billions of Euros in working capital improvements for his clients. He is the author of numerous publications in international journals and newspapers, and is often quoted in the press as a subject matter expert for working capital.

Omer Ibrahim

Director, LiquidX

Omer Ibrahim is Director at LiquidX, responsible for working with our Corporate clients. Prior to joining the company, Omer was Treasurer and Credit Manager at Tricon Energy Ltd, a physical commodities trader in Houston, TX. In these functions he managed and negotiated the company’s global trade credit insurance programs, bilateral trade facilities, borrowing base facilities, and receivables purchase programs. Prior to this, Omer worked in banking as an underwriter for working capital facilities. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of St. Thomas.

Markus Schiffers

Managing Director, Head of Origination – Europe, ORBIAN

Markus started his career at Deutsche Bundesbank, before holding various management positions for 15 years at Siemens Financial Services in Germany and the US from 2000. As Head of Supply Chain Finance at Siemens Markus worked in Siemens Treasury where he lead teams in the US and Germany that developed and implemented a Siemens-wide supply chain finance program with ORBIAN. Prior joining Orbian, Markus led the Business Development at an Asset Management and a Fintech Company in Switzerland. Markus graduated from the University of Applied Sciences (Hachenburg) in 1995 and received the CFA designation.

Lionel Van Reet

Partner, PWC

Lionel has joined PwC in 2014 as Partner. Lionel has 18+ years of experience in the field of Customs, International Trade, Excises & Energy Levy and has a Master in Business and Finance administration. He is leading the Belgian PwC Customs & International Trade practice and has developed his team in an impressive way over the last years. He is also EMEA Customs & International Trade leader.

Based on a truly broad experience in his sector enabling him to develop a pragmatic hands-on approach towards the clients his team is supporting resulting in concrete deliverables that can efficiently be implemented. Lionel has been supporting both private and public sector (different governmental levels).
