ATEB New Year Cocktail Recap + Recognition Awards Ceremony

Thanks to all who joined us for our New Year Cocktail last week – great to see so many of you to kick off 2025!

As ever, the event provided an excellent opportunity for Belgium’s treasury community to connect, exchange ideas, and share best practices.

Two key moments of the evening stood out: firstly, a powerful and insightful keynote address from former industry professionals and living with Parkinson’s advocates, Jean-Francois Caillol and Frédéric Blondel, alongside Cécile Grégoire, founder of Action Parkinson.

The second highlight was the big reveal of the winners of the 2024 ATEB Awards. Huge congratulations to the treasury teams of Aliaxis, the International Rescue Committee, and Swift, who were celebrated for their outstanding contributions to the Belgian treasury landscape.

• Aliaxis transformed its treasury by leveraging technology to unlock value, achieving payback in under a year and earning international accolades.
• The IRC streamlined treasury operations with integrated financial systems, improving liquidity management and aid efficiency for millions globally.
• SWIFT’s treasury team played a key role in enabling the business to run live trials of digital assets and currency transactions over the Swift network.
