On Thursday October 25, 2018, Deloitte Treasury Advisory Services in cooperation with ATEB organizes a round table discussion around treasury structures in Belgium, in comparison to other competitor countries in Europe such as Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Our tax and legal experts will provide an update on tax developments in relation to treasury and intercompany financing, and analyse and interactively discuss if and how these (can) affect treasury organisations and structures. Participants will have the opportunity to share their views and experiences. This workshop is an event organized within the strategic collaboration between Deloitte and ATEB.

The round table will in particular:

  • address and provide insights on a number of relevant recent and pending OECD, EU and domestic tax and transfer pricing developments and initiatives, including the pending repair law to last year’s Belgian corporate tax reform and the OECD discussion draft on financial transcations;
  • provide a comparative overview of the attractiveness of a selection of European countries in relation to treasury and financing within a corporate context, including Belgium.
